Would Donald Trump make a good president?

Should Donald Trump be president? Does he have the qualities needed to become an effective president?  Does he honestly believe he can benefit the welfare of the United States? Firstly he speaks his mind no matter how inappropriate or how out of context it is at the time, he lies constantly, not just to himself, but more importantly to the persons of the United States. Some argue that he has qualities needed, many argue that he doesn’t, America is split, they have a tough decision to make that could affect many different counties not just America.

Firstly Donald Trump. A man with no self-control, he says what he wants no matter how inappropriate it may be at the time, for instance he said this in a speech he delivered at a press conference on the 17/2 at White House dinner “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best. They’re not sending you, they’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bring crime. They’re rapists… And some, I assume, are good people.” He goes on to say more racist remarks such as this one. If he continues on this line of racism he will fail in being an effective president entirely, he will not solve important problems in America, instead make problems of his own and use the financial state of America to fix these problems. This is not acceptable, he is a deceiving man wanted to cause chaos within the United States, and he cannot and should not be trusted with such an important role in society.

Secondly Donald trump is always accused of always saying the truth, this is not the case. A website called Politifact states in an article published in 2016 that 76 percent of all his statements are mostly false, this is not ok, how can he lead America if he’s constantly lying to his supporters and to the persons of the United States of America. He is continually doing this, his most recent lie is when he said he has fully self-funded his own campaign. He has filed bankruptcy two or three times in the last two years alone. This is an indication to America he cannot invest his money in things that will benefit himself or be useful at all. What does this say to the people? They don’t want a leader that doesn’t know how to invest, they don’t want someone to invest America’s hard earned money into something useless that won’t benefit the nation. This man makes poor choices, many to do with his campaign to become president. Most people believe that he gathers all his money from his reality TV show, when actually his money actually comes from his father’s multimillion dollar inheritance.

Thirdly some argue that yes, he has confidence, he is self-assured and has a powerful personality that is perfectly suited for politics. Unlike some other politicians who tend to be swayed by lobbyists and special interests. But the fact is, even though he has these qualities he will crumble under pressure. I am almost certain of it, he cannot reserve his cockiness to use at the right time, and he believes that if it’s not done his way it won’t get done at all, or in fact it will get done the wrong way entirely. This man is an idiot, he has no idea what he’s getting himself into.

Overall Donald Trump is not fit to be president, he lacks critical qualities needed for being president. He is self-involved and doesn’t care about America. He wants to basically start WW3 against Isis, which economically is not a good idea right now.  Nor is a good idea ever. I believe America is fooling themselves, Americans do not fully realise how bad things could become if Mr. Trump becomes president, they are fully revolved around him being honest and saying what he believes is correct which is entirely incorrect. Donald Trump should not become president.
